Google's new Partnerships in 2006 (just the first week!)

Google is beginning 2006 with a bang. First came, the Piper Jaffray estimate of a year-end stock price of $600. Then came the rumor of Google PC (whcih proved to be just that thus far!). Then Google announced a partnership with Intel to bring video search onto Intel's new Viiv platform as INtel is trying to move from being seen as Intel Inside to Leap Ahead. I believe that this relationship will be a major competitive threat to Microsoft's Windows Media. Then, Google and Motorola announced a relationship to align mobile search.

Strategy 2.0 is about orchestrating relationships in networks. Google is jockeying in the network to become a powerful competitor to Microsoft. 2006 should be an interesting year!.
